The unique Ecocircle® Method combines organics with facets of permaculture and biodynamic principles into a simple and effective modular organic growing system that improves soil fertility, conserves water, promotes bio-diversity and produces organic crops
in an easy to manage and expandable modular layout.

The application of the knowledge contained in this training programme defines the groundwork for users to become organically certified for commercial purposes, providing the basic rules are followed and implemented. Our course is however, only a general guideline of the generic and fundamental principles.

Each individual certification body has their own specific guidelines and will assist specific applicants with the specialized rules and regulations applying to their particular certification.

The system, based on a format of circle grouping, has many attributes and benefits over other systems.
It also has many layout variations which can be applied to allow for maximizing land usage.

This powerful stand-alone self-help programme can be utilized and understood by anyone of any age, from child to mature adult.

The broad based subject matter has been carefully selected to allow the communication of sufficient knowledge for the users to build an eco-friendly system ranging from basic food supply requirements through to commercial application, based on sound sustainable practices.

Ecocircle® INSTRUCTORS

 

Although the Video Training Package is designed for stand-alone usage, we are of the opinion that in most cases, nothing can really replace human interraction in terms of motivation and mentoring.

We therefore have a team of qualified Ecocircle® Instructors on standby for Clients who wish to make use of this service in conjunction with the Video Training Package.

Our training team is being built up of motivated people who have a passion for serving the community and the environment, as well as for the
subject matter they teach.

Quotations will be given on application for either full time (project specific), or part time services

TRAINING FARM

Ecocircle® Facilitator Training Courses will be made available to
emerging Farmers wishing to utilize this system.
The training facility is currently at the Ecocircle® demonstration, research and training farm in Muldersdrift on the outskirts of Johannesburg.

Accommodation will be available to the students, with separate sleeping quarters and ablution facilities for males and females.

The participants work on the farm to gain practical hands on experience in an established system, under the expert guidance of our farm Manager, whilst receiving instruction in theoretical and practical issues from a range of specialized Ecocircle® Lecturers.

This course includes project management relating to day to day farming issues
as well as the establishment of a new system.

This 3-month course is an invaluable experience for those wishing to learn organic growing from first base and for those wishing to gain extra knowledge and experience before embarking either on their own farming venture,
or, as a nominated community member wishing to assist facilitation back in their community where the video training package is the main training medium.

The course is also be beneficial for representatives of N.G.O.'s involved in community and social work where the Ecocircle® Video Training Package
is being implemented.

This facilitators course results in a certificate of attendance and achievement ( exam based ), but does not allow for the graduates to carry the title of "Ecocircle® Instructor" for commercial gain.
This right is reserved solely for the staff members of the Ecocircle® Training Team who are employed by the Ecocircle® Group of Companies and who have undergone extensive specialized training in order to achieve their status.
